Tactical Intel on Enemy Origins

The misconception is that fallen angels and unclean spirits refer to the same entity. However, both are two separate categories.

The Book of Enoch contains supplemental information on the origins of evil spirits/unclean spirits. Let’s begin with the New Testament.

Matthew 10:1- “Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness.” (Authority over every category of demonic entity)

Acts 8:7- “Many evil spirits were cast out, screaming as they left their victims. And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed.”

Matthew 12:43- “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none.”

Fallen angels are the ones that “fell” from heaven, when Satan rebelled against God.

Revelation 12:7-9- Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

However, when Jesus said “unclean spirits” he was referring to the Book of Enoch, which the audience would have known.

Unclean spirit refers to the ungodly mixture of fallen angel and mankind.

A class of angel called a Watcher, sinned with the daughters of man. This produced an evil offspring, called a giant. (Nephilim)

This was Satan’s plan to overtake the earth with angel/human hybrids, to claim earth for himself. But the book of Genesis, this plan fails when God sent the Flood, in Noah’s time, to rid the earth of this wickedness.

When the giants died, their physical body perished, but their evil spirit was left behind the roam the earth. These evil spirits are what we call “demons.” Unclean spirits. The word “demon” is just a general term referring to a fallen angel, unclean spirit, or evil entity.

So in actuality, just as there are many types of angelic spirits, there are as many demonic spirits as well. Kingdom, hierarchy, rank.

I will end this post by again saying, that Jesus has given believers authority over all of these wicked beings. Here is the passage from the Book of Enoch to fill in the blanks. This is God’s rebuke for the Watchers that sinned.

Book of Enoch (Watchers Ch. 5, 27-31)

“But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling.

And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.

Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called.

And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble. They take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences.

And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.”
