Dream: Tour Through the Book of Daniel

Spiritual Museum Tour

The interesting thing about this dream, is that I felt like I was walking in a simulation of a Bible story. It was during the time of Daniel living in Babylon. I was given story, but walking beside him the entire time. I wasn’t taking an active part in the story, but I was closely observing what was happening. It felt like I was in a guided museum tour. I even remember the rope sealing off portions of the tour, similar to waiting in line for a ride in a theme park.

While I remember fragments of this dream, the most profound part was at the end. I remember waiting a long time in line. I started to feel impatient. I remember thinking that I knew the Bible story. I was waiting for the next part of the tour, where I knew that Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego, would make their appearance. After all, I read the story so many times. But in the waiting room, there was a painting of scenery. I was mildly staring at it, and all of a sudden, Jesus steps through the painting!!!

He entered the room in a burst of light, even the painting turned to pure light. I remember being overcome by His presence, and was weeping uncontrollably. He was the part of the Bible story, that I was waiting for. He is the beginning and the end. I beheld him for some time, and the dream was complete.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Jesus near the end of tour. That’s what I want to leave you with. I believe the fact that He entered the waiting room, was significant. Perhaps you are in a waiting season. I implore you to continue being faithful, and you will have your suddenly moment with Him.
